Paper Title : Down to Earth Ignatian Ideology

Abstract  

The Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigms (IPP) and the Universal Apostolic Preferences (UAPs) are what present-day Jesuits attempt to imbibe as best they can to be both enlightened and downright practical.   Their high principles are required to be well grounded when decisions are to be made that are fully committed to the “common good.” The greatest achievement is not only being at the top of one’s profession for the sake of financial gain, but in also using one’s profession to reach out to people in need, and this can be said to be a “calling” or “vocation” from, dub it what you may, the divine or the transcendental within oneself.
