Prior to conducting the rural camp, letters of information were sent to the camps and some letters were e-mailed to the camp in-charges. Along with the letters, SMS were sent to the organisations conducting the camp. A data sheet too was attached with the letter seeking suitable dates, number of students and other information regarding the camp. Some camps were telephonically informed about the camp too. After permission was obtained from the organisations, information was either gathered by reply to the e-mail or mailed back to the Institution. The Staff-in-charges and students discussed about the dates and students were allotted a camp in a lecture period.
The Staff-in-charges were updated regarding the organisations requirements of the camp. A certificate was given to each student on completion of the rural camp. An assembly slot was given to each group to share their reflections of the rural camp. The students were asked to write down the reflections regarding the rural camp each day on sheets of paper on a format given to the students by the Institution. The students during the assembly slot reflected positively towards the Rural Internship and had an enriching experience which they will cherish for a long time.
